1st edition, 8vo, grey paper covered boards, some scuffing/rubbing else very good. pp 72, numerous illustrations in-text by Pigeon Crowle. The author was amongst other things responsible for the words to ' Danny Boy ' and the first world war song ' Roses of Picardy '. Pigeon Crowle was an illustrator who often illustrated books on the ballet whose correspondence and papers are held in the National Archives of Australia.
